My childhood friend was delighted

I bought one for myself and had one sent to my childhood friend in Canada. My friend was delighted with the hare, and keeps it by her sink so she sees it every day. My hare I keep in a bookcase where I see it every time I watch TV.
I don't usually buy ‘things’, preferring books and such, but I'm delighted with the hares that I have bought from you.

I recently ordered the Alert Hare Maquette as a birthday gift for my sister in Canada.
I am not sure how the young man who took my order over the telephone, managed it, but true to his word, the present was delivered on the morning of her birthday, and amazingly I just happened to be speaking with her on Skype when the FedEx delivery van stopped outside their home.
The timing couldn't have been better if the person I had spoken with had waved a magic wand.
I watched as she opened her gift and saw how absolutely delighted she was. She also commented on the attractive careful packaging.
Thank you to all for your outstanding service, particularly in these difficult times.
