- Before my two long-haired blue dapples named Hoover and Regina, I had a smooth red named Dachota who could have posed for the Trotting Dachshund beautifully created by Ms Maclaurin. She captures their spirit and tenacity. This and the little fellow showing off on his back are two of my favorites in my collection of “doxies.”
